Hi, I’m Articuno

Say hello to our fantastic flock of Double-Barred Finches - a tiny whirlwind of feathers, friendship, and joyful chirps! These dapper little birds, known for their sweet personalities and adorable "face masks", are inseparable buddies who love to flit, forage, and sing together.

Gentle, social, and full of charm, they'd love to find a forever home where they can stay together and keep spreading the joy. Whether you're an experienced bird lover or a first-time flock parent, these guys are sure to steal your heart (and maybe your sunflower seeds 💛).

They'll thrive on a good quality seed mix, finch crumbles, sprouted seeds, millet sprays, shell grit, greens and the occasional small meal worm. And I'll need an aviary or enclosure where I can flutter around and replicates my natural surroundings. We're often found in pairs, so it would be wonderful to come home to you with one of my finch friends here at the RSPCA.
