Hi, I’m Scruffy

Greetings, kind human - I'm Scruffy.
Yes, that Scruffy. The seasoned gentleman with a heart full of stories and a nose for the finer things in life. If you've got a little time and a comfy chair, I'll gladly tell you all about my ancestors - legendary dogs, all of them, with heroic howls and a taste for treats. I like to think I've inherited their best qualities: loyalty, wisdom, and a deep love for naps.

At this point in my life, I'm ready to settle into my golden years in a home that matches my vibe - calm, consistent, and full of love. I'm not looking for the hustle and bustle of a busy household. What I really want is a peaceful place where I can stretch out in the sun, play a little fetch, sniff around the yard, and then cuddle up for a good snooze.

I'm still playful in my own dignified way - toss me a toy and I'll show you I've still got some pep in my step. But I don't need hours of activity; just a little fun, a bit of companionship, and a soft place to land at the end of the day.

Ideally, my new human will be home more often than not. I enjoy good company and prefer not to be alone too long - after all, stories are better when you have someone to share them with. I'd also be happy to share my home with a calm doggie friend who enjoys quiet moments and understands proper retired-dog etiquette.

If you're someone who enjoys a slower pace, a warm companion, and the sound of paws padding quietly through your home, then I think we might just be meant for each other.
