Cody is a calm and quiet sweetheart who absolutely loves affection. While he can be a little shy at first, once the pats begin, he leans right in and happily soaks up all the love. He's a gentle boy who enjoys spending his days relaxing, making him the perfect couch buddy for anyone looking for a laid-back companion.
Cody would do best in a low foot-traffic home where he can feel safe and settle in at his own pace. He is better suited to adopters who have experience with shy or fearful cats, but he may also do well with first-time adopters who are patient, understanding, and willing to learn about fearful feline behaviours.
Due to his shy nature, Cody would be more comfortable in a household with older children. He may also be suitable for a multi-cat home, provided introductions are done slowly and properly.
