Hi, I’m Karl
Karl is a bundle of affection with a perfectly tousled coat and a heart full of love (and snacks - mostly snacks). This scruffy little dude is all about the cuddles once he's comfy, and will happily melt into your arms like a warm fuzzy burrito.
New places and loud chaos? Not really Karl's vibe. He's looking for a calm, predictable home where he can build confidence, settle into a nice routine, and get lots of praise for being the very best boy. He's working on his basic manners and would really benefit from some crate time to help him chill out and recharge his batteries.
Karl is super food motivated, so training will be fun (and delicious). He'd do best with older, calm kids or teens who can help guide him and be part of his training journey.
He's friendly and playful with other dogs, and has previously lived with another male - so he's open to a doggy friend, a meet-and-greet at adoption time will be required to ensure they are a good match!
If you're ready to welcome a scruff ball with a big heart, a few quirks, and loads of potential, Karl might just be your guy.

Please note:
- A property check may be required before ADOPTION to ensure the safety and welfare of adoption animals. Rental agreements allowing pets will be required for adoptions into rental properties. Differential pricing may apply.
- The website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that by the time you have completed the Apply to Adopt form the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted by another party.
- While our shelters are open, not every pet available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. To express your interest, Apply to Adopt online and if it's a perfect match you will be shortlisted and contacted via phone by our Adoption Team to discuss the animal in detail.
