Hi, I’m Chucky
Meet Chucky - an active, playful young guy with a big heart and a lot of love to give! Chucky is best suited to an active family who will include him in daily life and take him on fun adventures. He adores people and won't hesitate to jump into your lap for pats and puppy kisses. True to his breed, Chucky is a smart boy who already knows "sit" and "down." With continued training, he'll thrive and pick up even more skills in no time. He can be a little unsure with close handling at times and may do small nervous wees, so gentle, positive interactions and plenty of tasty treats will help build his confidence. Chucky needs daily physical exercise and mental enrichment - he'll love working for his meals using puzzle toys like Kongs, snuffle mats, milk bottles, or egg cartons. He is still learning to walk on a loose lead and tends to weave between your legs, so ongoing lead training will be important. Chucky is open to finding the right family - we recommend children come in to meet him at adoption time.

- A property check may be required before ADOPTION to ensure the safety and welfare of adoption animals. Rental agreements allowing pets will be required for adoptions into rental properties. Differential pricing may apply.

- While our shelters are open, not every pet available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. To express your interest, Apply to Adopt online and if it's a perfect match you will be shortlisted and contacted via phone by our Adoption Team to discuss the animal in detail.
