Meet Donnie!
Donnie is a gentle soul who can be very worried at times and needs a calm, patient home where his family is willing to take things slowly and follow his lead. With the right support, he truly blossoms.
At first, Donnie was too nervous to walk on-lead, but everything changed when he made a doggie friend. With another dog by his side, he became more confident, happily following their cues and even becoming playful. Because of this, Donnie could go to a home with a friendly, social dog who can help guide him through everyday life and continue building his confidence.
He is best suited to a quiet home with calm, gentle older children, with a meet required at the time of adoption to ensure everyone is a good match.
Donnie is a young boy who hasn't had much exposure to a good life and love but with patience, kindness, and the right canine companion, he will blossom into the very best "man's best friend" anyone could ask for!

- A property check may be required before ADOPTION to ensure the safety and welfare of adoption animals. Rental agreements allowing pets will be required for adoptions into rental properties. Differential pricing may apply.

- While our shelters are open, not every pet available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. To express your interest, Apply to Adopt online and if it's a perfect match you will be shortlisted and contacted via phone by our Adoption Team to discuss the animal in detail.
