Hi there! I'm Scooter, a little guy with a big heart, looking for a loving home where I can be your best buddy. I'm a friendly and social dachshund, and I really enjoy spending time with my humans. I'm super sweet and love to curl up on your lap for a snuggle - I just want to be close to you!

I get along great with other dogs, whether they're male or female - I'm a social pup, so if you already have a doggy friend, I'd be thrilled to join the family. I enjoy playing fetch (though I like it best with soft toys), so if you have a backyard to toss toys around in, that's a bonus!

Since I'm a little guy, I'll need a secure fence in my new home. I came through the council, and I do get a bit nervous when things are too open, so strong, solid fencing is ideal to keep me safe and sound. I can be a bit reactive to new people - typical dachshund behaviour - so a secure, calm environment is what I need to thrive.

Because I'm a bit sensitive to quick movements or loud noises, I'd do best with older children or ones who have experience with dachshunds. I just need time to adjust to new situations and people.

I'd love to join a family who understands dachshund quirks and knows how to take care of my little medical needs. I'm ready to bring joy, cuddles, and playtime to your life - could you be the one to share your home with me? Let's make some happy memories together!
