Without the continued support of our valued volunteers, RSPCA Qld would not be able to help the abused, abandoned or injured animals that come into our care every year.
Whether you're a volunteer Rescue Unit Driver out in the field, an Animal Care Assistant in one of our shelters, or one of our Community Outreach and Education Assistants working directly with the community - each of our passionate and dedicated volunteers play a pivotal role in supporting RSPCA Qld to improve the welfare of animals and protect them from neglect and cruelty.
We operate with 470 paid staff, and over 2,000 volunteers who cover a range of different roles in the organisation, click here to see our volunteers in action.

We are so very, very proud of each and every person who makes that crucial decision to support us. Their dedication, their time, their energy and their skills are what make us who we are, and what will make us who we become. With each new volunteer that joins us, our positive impact on the lives of animals grows stronger.
Volunteering just might change your life - it's changed ours. And it will certainly change the lives of many animals in our care.
