Missy was the victim of neglect. After sustaining two broken legs as a result of a dog attack, her broken legs were put in casts by her local vet. But when her owner failed to return for follow-up visits, her concerned vet called the RSPCA. By this time, her left hind leg was septic and had to be amputated.
Today, this spirited little lady is thriving in her new home.
Her new mum, Leigh, can’t believe “how quick Missy is on three legs! She bounds up the stairs chasing our other pets.”
Missy goes to work with Leigh every day and sits happily by her mum’s side. “I’ll make sure her future with us is very happy and she gets all the medical care, love and affection she deserves,” Leigh said.
