Acceptance of Terms and Conditions of Use

By completing a Competition entry, you agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions. The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Queensland Limited A.C.N. 166 777 591.

RSPCA Queensland may, without notice, amend or modify its Terms & Conditions by posting the amended Terms & Conditions to this competition.

If any of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that invalidity or unenforceability will not affect the remainder of the Terms & Conditions, which will continue in full force and effect.

Competition Ownership

The Competition is owned and operated by RSPCA Queensland.

Intended audience

All information provided on this website in relation to the Competition has been prepared in accordance with Australian law and is intended for use by residents of Queensland, Australia. Persons not ordinarily residing in the State of Queensland are not eligible to enter into the Competition.

Competition details

Entries into the Competition may be effected from Friday 31 January 2025 until Monday 17 March 2025. Entries can only be made by submitting a paper or online response to the 2025 Supporter Connection Survey. One entry per eligible entrant. Entry is automatic. Note that no entry will be received or valid after 5:00 pm on Monday 17 March 2025.

In order to be eligible to make an entry:

  • You must be at least 18 years of age and ordinarily reside in the State of Queensland; and
  • You may not be an employee of RSPCA Queensland, or the immediate family of an employee of RSPCA Queensland.

RSPCA Queensland accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected mail.

Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify RSPCA Queensland.

The Competition prizes: There are ten (10) prizes with ten (10) prize winners. Each winner will receive ten (10) tickets in RSPCA Lottery #84. Each prize is valued at $100. 

The Competition draw

The prize winners will be drawn at random 11am AEST on Monday 14 April 2025 at RSPCA Queensland, Wacol Animal Care Campus, 139 Wacol Station Road, Wacol, QLD 4076.

This Competition is a game of chance. Prizes will be awarded to the first ten (10) eligible entrants drawn at random.

The prizes are not transferrable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

The winners will be notified by phone, SMS, email or by post within 2 business days of the drawing date.

RSPCA Queensland will email lottery tickets to the winners within 5 business days of the drawing date. If email is unavailable, RSPCA Queensland will post lottery tickets to the winners within 5 business days of the drawing date.

If RSPCA Queensland is unable to contact a prize winner by 10am AEST Friday 2 May 2025, an unclaimed prize draw will be held at 11am AEST Friday 2 May at RSPCA Queensland, Wacol Animal Care Campus,139 Wacol Station Road, Wacol, Qld 4076. The redraw winner/s will be notified by phone, SMS, email or by post. The redraw winner prize will be a substitute ten (10) tickets in RSPCA Lottery #85.

Conduct of the Competition, including decision on the eligibility of persons to enter, shall be the sole responsibility of the management of RSPCA Queensland, whose decision in all matters shall be final. No correspondence shall be entered into.

RSPCA Queensland reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is deemed fraudulent or not a valid entry as issued by it.

Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and to be interpreted in accordance with the laws in force in the State of Queensland, Australia and in the event of any dispute arising in relation to these Terms & Conditions or any dispute arising in relation to the Competition whether in contract or tort or otherwise the courts of Queensland and any courts competent to hear appeals therefrom will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over such dispute.
