Hi, I’m Rubin

Meet Rubin, a sweet little ginger kitten with a heart of gold and a soft spot for cuddles. Rubin came into care with his mum from Noosa Council, and the busy shelter environment was a lot for this sensitive soul to handle.

With time, patience, and plenty of TLC, Rubin has slowly come out of his shell, showing off his affectionate personality and love of gentle snuggles. Once he feels safe, he'll happily curl up in your arms and purr away contentedly.

Rubin is still a bit nervous when meeting new people, so a Behaviour Consult is recommended to help him settle smoothly into his new home. Rubin would do best with a patient and understanding adopter who can respect his pace and help him build trust.

A home with teens or older children who are familiar with reading cat body language and can give him space when needed would be ideal.

He has been social with other kittens in care and could enjoy the companionship of a friendly, well-socialized cat with a slow introduction. He may also do well in a home with a calm, cat-friendly dog, as long as interactions are monitored and introduced gradually.

If you're ready to open your heart and home to a gentle kitten who just needs a little extra reassurance, Rubin is waiting to blossom into your loyal, purring companion.
