Say hello to Rocky, the sweet-natured Cattle Dog who's ready to find a forever home full of love, patience, and quiet companionship. This gentle man is a bit shy when it comes to new experiences and loud noises, so he's best suited to a calm home with older children who can give him the time and space he needs to feel safe.
Rocky has spent most of his time outdoors and would love a big yard to explore - but make no mistake, his favorite place will be right next to you on the couch. He's a total cuddle bug once he feels comfortable and just wants to be loved.
While he's still figuring out what toys are for (he's more of a snuggler than a fetcher - for now!), with the right guidance and encouragement, he just might discover his playful side. He's very smart and would thrive with regular exercise and fun brain games to keep his clever mind busy.
Rocky hasn't had much experience with other dogs, but could potentially live with a calm and social canine friend - they'll just need to meet first to make sure it's a good fit.
He'll do best with a patient and experienced owner who can help him build confidence and settle in at his own pace. A secure 5ft fence is a must to keep this sweet boy safe as he learns about the world around him.

- While our shelters are open, not every pet available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. To express your interest, Apply to Adopt online and if it's a perfect match you will be shortlisted and contacted via phone by our Adoption Team to discuss the animal in detail.
