Meet Nova, a stunning young Maremma sheepdog eager to find her forever home. Originally bred as a livestock guardian, Maremmas are highly intelligent, friendly, and protective. Nova is gentle in her interactions and enjoys attention on her terms, often bursting into playful energy. Her beautiful coat requires regular grooming to keep her looking her best. Nova is best suited for experienced adopters familiar with the breed or those with adequate knowledge of guardian dogs, as she benefits from understanding her unique needs. Nova can be aloof at times but is generally social and thrives in a home with a secure, 5-foot fenced yard, whether indoor or outdoor living. She is suitable for children aged 8 and older, preferably those who have lived with larger dogs. No cats, please. Nova needs a calm, space-allowing environment with minimal reactivity, and a meet-and-greet is essential to ensure a perfect match. Come and meet her soon!

- While our shelters are open, not every pet available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. To express your interest, Apply to Adopt online and if it's a perfect match you will be shortlisted and contacted via phone by our Adoption Team to discuss the animal in detail.
