Barbara is a complex woman. A little mystery, a little sass, and a whole lot of personality packed into one fabulous feline.
She's been feeling a tad shy since her arrival at the shelter (we don't blame her - fluorescent lighting isn't anyone's best look), so she'll need a quiet "launch room" to decompress and vibe at her own pace. She's the type to make you earn her trust - but once you do, consider yourself part of an exclusive club.
Now, mornings? That's when Barbara used to get a little... passionately expressive. Let's just say she wasn't thrilled when her humans left for the day. (Who is okay with being abandoned before breakfast?) We recommend jazzing up her solo time with enrichment toys, puzzle feeders, and toy rotations - basically, turning her life into a catified amusement park. She's a smart cookie, and she needs brain snacks while you're out adulting.
Barbara would thrive in a home with respectful teens who understand the fine art of feline body language - she'll definitely let you know when she's in the mood for love... or alone time.
She has lived with another cat before, though she was a bit of a hissy lady at first - slow intros are a must if she's to share her space again.
