Meet Nala!
Nala is a gentle young girl who didn't get the easiest start in life, and is ready to meet her forever family. She can find the world a little overwhelming at times so she's looking for a calm, patient family who will help her feel safe and secure.
One of Nalas favourite things is food! She's a total snack enthusiast, and nothing wins her heart faster than a tasty treat. With a pocket full of snacks and a gentle approach, you'll quickly see her sweet, affectionate side shine through.
Nala will thrive with gentle exposure, positive, reward-based training. Starting with simple cues and helping her feel confident in her backyard will set her up for success. She will also need some help with learning to walk on a lead, as this is a skill she is currently working on! Once she's comfortable, she'll be ready to learn about the outside world with slow, quiet sniffaris.
She'd do best in a quiet home, perhaps with older, calm children who can earn her trust and be part of her journey.

- While our shelters are open, not every pet available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. To express your interest, Apply to Adopt online and if it's a perfect match you will be shortlisted and contacted via phone by our Adoption Team to discuss the animal in detail.
