Hi, I’m Boo
Boo will need to start off in a small, quiet area of the home, with access to hard-to-reach spots restricted. He should be given plenty of time to settle before being allowed to explore the rest of the house, as large open spaces can feel overwhelming at first.
His new home should be well set up with enrichment such as scratch posts, cat trees, and safe hiding places like cardboard boxes or cat igloos. Access to shelves or dressers will help provide a variety of secure spaces, both high and low, throughout the home.
A patient and understanding adopter is recommended, as Boo may be timid when entering a new environment and may need time to relax before showing his true personality. A household with teens or older children who understand basic cat body language and know when to give him space would be ideal.
Boo is social with other cats and may do well with a confident feline companion in the home. He can often be won over with tasty wet food.
