Hi, I’m Minty
Minty is a timid older lady who is looking for a calm, understanding home where she can settle in at her own pace. She will need to start out in a small, quiet room and be given time to feel safe before being allowed to explore the rest of the house, as large open spaces can easily overwhelm her.
Her new home should be well set up with plenty of safe spaces, including scratch posts or cat trees, cosy hides such as cardboard boxes or cat igloos, and access to shelves or dressers so she can choose both high and low retreat spots throughout the house.
Minty may be shy when first arriving, but with patience and kindness she will slowly show her true personality. Once she feels comfortable, her curious side comes out and she enjoys quietly "people watching" before retreating back to her favourite hiding place.
She adores gentle chin rubs and has a soft spot for roast chicken. Minty would suit a quiet household, ideally with teens who understand basic cat body language and know when to give her space.
