Hi, I’m Buddy
Buddy is a sweet, sensitive soul with a bashful heart and the softest eyes. He can be nervous in new environments, but what truly helps him shine is the presence of his beloved lifelong companion, Maisy. They've grown up side-by-side, and Buddy has always looked to her for comfort and courage-she's his safe place, his support, and his very best friend. Ideally, they'll be adopted together so their beautiful bond can continue.
Buddy would thrive in a calm, patient home with someone home more often than not, especially in those early days as he adjusts. A crate or quiet success space can help him decompress and feel secure. He's not particularly food or toy motivated at first, but once relaxed, he's been known to enjoy a good game of tug with a rope toy.
He would likely do best with a gentle, confident dog companion (if not Maisy) who can help him navigate the world. Older, calm children may be a good fit-he'll meet them at adoption to be sure.
Buddy is a quiet, loving boy looking for someone to help him feel safe-and if Maisy can come along, his heart will be whole.

- While our shelters are open, not every pet available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. To express your interest, Apply to Adopt online and if it's a perfect match you will be shortlisted and contacted via phone by our Adoption Team to discuss the animal in detail.
