Hi, I'm Francine! 🐾 I'm a sweet girl with a heart full of love, but I've had a bit of a rough start in life, so I'm looking for a patient and understanding family who can help me grow into the confident pup I know I can be. ❤️

I absolutely adore the company of people and other dogs! I would really thrive in a home with another dog, as having a canine friend around would help me feel more secure and show me the ropes. 🐕 I just need to meet them first to make sure we get along, but I love playing with my doggy pals and would be thrilled to have a buddy to hang out with! 🐾💕

I'm still getting the hang of some things, especially when it comes to new experiences and socialisation. I can be a little scared of unfamiliar situations, so I need a family who will be patient with me as I adjust to new things. I'm also not quite used to an indoor lifestyle yet, so I might be hesitant to come inside at first, but with time and encouragement, I'll get the hang of it!

One thing I absolutely *do* love is being outside, especially when there's water involved! 💦 I love splashing around in puddles or playing in the water, whether I'm on my own or with a friend. I could spend hours doing that if you let me! I also have a thick double coat that requires regular brushing, especially after a good play session in the mud! 😆

It might take me a little time to warm up to you, but once I feel safe and loved, I'll be the cuddliest retriever around! 🥰 I love a good snuggle, and I'm always happy to share my love and loyalty once I've gained some confidence. I can sometimes get confused on what is edible and what is not and do explore with my mouth! Despite this I have so much love to give.
