BACKGROUND:- My story starts off with me being lost and unable to find my way home. With no family to take care of me, it was a very scary time. I'm now very well looked after at my shelter, however I yearn for a place of my own with loving people, who will ensure that I don't become lost again.
PURR-SONALITY:- I'm a happy and uncomplicated lady, who's really easy to get along with. I'm not too needy and I'm not too aloof - I'm just right! I love human company and in time to come, I'm sure I'll be your lap cat.
LIFESTYLE:- As I've already been lost, I'd love to have a SAFE INDOOR LIFESTYLE in my new home, where my new guardians would ensure that I'm kept safe from the many dangers outside. Did you know that it's reported that outside cats live approx. 10 years less than inside ones.
You can make inside your home exciting for Betty. A couple of large cat scratching trees (great near windows and where people gather), some warm beds, cardboard boxes and wand toys. When I'm outside I'm tempted to kill the wildlife - I can't help it as it's in my genes.
My human companions could have SOME CAT EXPERIENCE, however the important quality they need are patience and kindness, whilst I settle in and find my paws. A "LAUNCH ROOM" would help a great deal to make me feel comfortable. It's a space I can retreat to if I feel overwhelmed.
Children? I think I could manage cat-savvy, respectful children, who would treat me very gently. Purr-babies? I think that could be a possibility, if my human guardian helps me co-habit with my new friend.
I'm in very good shape and if I'm fed a nutritious diet of high-quality dry biscuits, yummy wet food and bowls of clean, fresh water (essential for my hydration), I'll be your loving companion furr-ever.
