Hi, I’m Sadie
Meet Sadie, the sweet and shy kitty ready to find her forever home! Sadie needs to start in a small launch room to help her settle in before exploring larger spaces-big areas can be a bit overwhelming for her.
To make Sadie feel safe and secure, she'll appreciate scratch posts, cat trees, and cozy hideaways like cardboard boxes or cat igloos. Access to shelves and dressers will give her plenty of safe spots to retreat to, both high and low.
Sadie is looking for a patient and understanding adopter who can recognize her timid nature. It may take her some time to show her true self, but with gentle attention, she'll warm up and even arch her back for affectionate strokes! Older children who can read cat body language and know when to give her space will be the best match.
While she's not overly interested in interacting with other cats, she remains calm in their presence and may do well with a gradual introduction. Sadie might also adapt to a home with a calm, social dog, as long as interactions are monitored.
This lovely lady came into care in a washing basket with several other cats, understandably frightened and overwhelmed. Though we don't know much about her history, she clearly enjoys the company of people. Sadie is a big foodie, especially when it comes to chicken and treat paste, and she loves a gentle fuss once she feels comfortable.
If you're ready to provide a loving and safe space for Sadie, she can't wait to blossom with you!
