Hi, I’m Cooper
Meet Cooper! This shy and sensitive boy is looking for some human companionship and love. He'd love someone (or many someones!) who can give him the time to build trust and help him thrive as his doggy self!
Cooper is sweet and gentle, but it takes him a little time to open up to new people. But you'll know you've got his trust when he's leaning into your lap for many cuddles, ear scratches, and pats!
When it comes to walks, Cooper can be quite worried when walking in new environments. He's currently building his confidence and learning not to startle so easily. Cooper would love to keep building his confidence with his new family before going on short, quiet walks near home.
He's also a social boy that feels confident walking with other pooches, so having a social and confident doggie friend at home would be a big boost for him!
Cooper LOVES his food! It's a great treat to use to bond with people and give him some positive reassurance. If going home with another pooch, Cooper MUST be fed separately.
A great match for teens or potentially calm, gentle, and respectful older children. He'd love to meet everyone first before he goes home!

- While our shelters are open, not every pet available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. To express your interest, Apply to Adopt online and if it's a perfect match you will be shortlisted and contacted via phone by our Adoption Team to discuss the animal in detail.
