“We’re not just here to change Melbourne Cup events, we’re here to change lives!” says event organiser Jane Grealy.
Tuesday 2 November 2021. 12pm Boulevard Room, Brisbane Convention and Entertainment Centre
“Bolted realigns an Australian tradition with a celebration of life. We use the day that traditionally hosts the race that stops the nation, and put incredibly worthy charities such as RSPCA (Qld) and women’s cancer research at UQ at the forefront of our focus, diverting much-needed fundraising to those in need.
“Sadly the horse casualties in recent years showcase the animal welfare shortcomings of this event,” said RSPCA Qld spokesperson Michael Beatty. ” Come along to Bolted and enjoy yourself while making a real difference to two great charities.
Why RSPCA and QCGC Research? Unique collaboration between two diverse organisations with more in common than you think. Both organisations focus on changing lives for the better through education, awareness, research and providing the best care possible.
How to get involved: Seats for 250 friends, charity champions and special guests. Tickets cost $240 each or tables of 10 for $2,400.
“Be quick – before tickets bolt out the door” Tickets can be purchased online.
What can we expect from Bolted? A party takes the best of the old Melbourne Cup event – fun, fashion, food, good company – and transforms it into a magical feel-good celebration with a few heart-warming surprises thrown in along the way.
All profits go directly and equally to RSPCA (Qld) and women’s cancer through Queensland Centre for Gynaecological Cancer Research at UQ Jane Grealy +61 (0) 414 697 219, [email protected]
