RSPCA Queensland is calling for anyone with information about a black cat that was found on Thursday 8 August 2024 in the Camira area with what appears to be chemical burns to three-quarters of its body, to come forward.
The cat was taken to Animal Emergency Service in Jindalee by a good Samaritan.
The RSPCA Rescue Unit collected the cat for treatment by their veterinary team at Wacol.
The cat, now affectionately named Bernard, is in good spirits despite his ordeal.
