Double your impact this Thursday!

Animals Animal Welfare Posted Oct 1, 2024
Your donation to RSPCA will be DOUBLED on Thursday Oct 3 thanks to our generous sponsors and major donors...

This Thursday, October 3, your donation to RSPCA will be matched for our Give to Get them Home appeal. Head to our website to get involved and you’ll be directing helping us rehome 1,166 pets! Your kind gift, no matter how great or small, goes a long way to helping our animals waiting for a second chance…

Beautiful Squint here has a hearing impairment. Despite his adorable, sweet nature, he’s been sadly overlooked by potential adopters for the last three weeks. Imagine sitting in an adoption pen and watching dozens of people pass by your door every day and thinking “Is this my new family?” only to have to wait patiently yet another day in shelter care.

Thanks to our generous sponsors Royal Canin, Bravecto and Peter Alexander, our corporate partners TIMG, Clare May Real Estate, H Design, and some major donors like Rodney Banks – Clearspan, your donation on October 3 will be matched!

Your donation will have double the impact… so you can also help this dynamic duo, Ryobie and Makita the cats, find their forever family too!

A bonded pair of six-year-old cats, Ryobie and Makita have been patiently waiting for a month at our Townsville RSPCA for a new home after their elderly owner could no longer care for them.

How does your donation help?
  • $50 can help cover vaccination costs for a dog or cat to protect them from disease.
  • $200 can help care for an animal for a week while they wait for their new family.
  • $300 can help desex a dog to prepare them for adoption.
  • $600 can provide emergency vet care and medication to an animal in need.
  • $1,000 can rescue and rehabilitate a neglected or abused animal.
Let's Give to Get them Home!

Bang Bang the horse at RSPCA Cairns is our longest-term resident, patiently waiting for a new home for over a year!

When you Give to Get them Home, Bang Bang is one step closer to finding his forever family.

At the RSPCA, we rely heavily on donations from people like you - that's 96% of our funding!

Your generosity warms the hearts of our long-termers like Comet at Bundaberg RSPCA, Krissy at Brisbane RSPCA and Martha (pictured below) at Noosa RSPCA.

Martha

All funds raised in our Give to Get them Home appeal this Thursday will go directly towards rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming the animals that turn to the RSPCA in their time of need.

Will you be one of our incredible Queenslanders giving to get them home?
