In this episode, the bustling RSPCA Brisbane Animal Care Campus has welcomed a nervous, new arrival named Kai, the Great Dane puppy. Kai is assessed by Renee from our Behaviour team and she treads softly, given her limited knowledge of this adorable pup's history. The young, but sizable puppy will require special care to gain trust, experience and confidence before she can get ready to find her forever home.
Meanwhile, Luna and Amelia are also looking for new homes at RSPCA. The pair are facing their final veterinary checks with long medical treatments needed before they can be adopted.
Also, Burmese cross Luna, three, is reaching the conclusion of her month-long intensive ringworm treatment. Now all she needs to do is undergo her last medical check before she is ready to take centre stage in the Adoption Centre.
On the other hand, Amelia, an energetic working dog, arrives at the RSPCA during her heartworm treatment journey. Responding well to treatment and training, will she get a clean bill of health from RSPCA vet Dr Bronte?
This week we also have an exclusive feature for you right here... go behind the scenes at the RSPCA and meet Toast, an energetic Kelpie cross American Staffordshire Bull Terrier looking for his furever home. RSPCA School For Pets joins in to help our Animal Care team set him up for the best possible life ahead.
