In the space of two weeks in May, RSPCA inspectors removed 45 dogs from two rural addresses in the Southern Downs region.

On the 15th of May, 27 small breed dogs were surrendered to Inspectors after they attended a rural address in relation to poor living conditions.
Clancy, one of the dogs that were surrendered from the property (pictured above). Can you believe that pictured below is Clancy after volunteer groomer Sue gave him a much needed makeover? Clancy has since been adopted and found a loving family.
Under a week later, on the 21st of May, RSPCA Inspectors were called to investigate a second unrelated property where it was alleged that approximately 30 dogs were living in inappropriate conditions. As a result, 18 dogs were surrendered to RSPCA. Pictured below is another small breed dog coming into the RSPCA.
Narla (pictured below) was also one of the dogs surrendered. She was pregnant when she came into RSPCA care and has since had a litter of puppies.
