Bring your Primary or Early Learning Centre class to RSPCA Brisbane, Wacol!
The excursion includes a shelter tour, presentation on RSPCA and living safely with animals, and an animal enrichment activity. Sessions run for approximately 2.5 hours.
RSPCA Queensland is excited to be offering students the opportunity to visit us at our Wacol facility to learn about how they can impact the lives of all creatures great and small.
Youths (12 - 17 years)
Our career expo session is a great way for students to explore a career in animal welfare post school. Students can speak to representatives who work in various animal and non-animal facing roles. Speakers include representatives from:
- Inspectorate and Rescue
- Vet Services (including Vet, Vet Nurse, or Behaviour Specialist)
- Animal Care (Wildlife or Domestic)
- Call Centre and Customer Experience (including Retail)
- Corporate Services (Marketing, Finance, Volunteering, Human Resources or Fundraising teams)

- Is the program available at all shelters? Unfortunately, our excursions are only available at our Wacol campus. We hope to provide opportunities at regional shelters across Queensland as resources become available, so please check back soon. Alternatively, please check out our Virtual Classroom.
- Can presentations from specific departments be requested? Custom tour packages are available with additional training opportunities.
